The Rummer Hotel Bar is open from 10am until late. We boast the largest selection of quality spirits in the region and a team of professional bartenders who know how to mix them. We have an extensive cocktail list, using the finest and most authentic of ingredients. If you can't see your favourite cocktail on the list, just ask one of the team. If you are feeling daring we have a selection of exclusive Forbidden Cocktails including the Zombie Exclusiva and the Killah Sangria, which are limited to one per customer per day (you will thank us for this limit in the morning).
We have a wide selection of bottled beers from both local and international producers, and a great cider from the westcountry. The wine list is also extensive and has won praise from many areas of the industry. Six reds and six whites and a champagne are served by the glass.
Our bar team also provide tutored tastings to groups. Any type of spirit can be explored with a member of our team, who will guide you through our extensive range of spirits and liqueurs. We can only offer this service on a pre-booked basis and provides a great alternative to wine tastings.
During the day, Brunch served in the bar area, with exceptional fresh juices and Kenyan AA coffee. Al all other times, Greg McHugh's full Dining Menu and Bar Snack menu are available
After work and during cold evenings you can enjoy a glass of wine, cocktail or beer in front of our huge open fire.
We close the bar at 11pm Monday to Thursday, and at 1am on the weekends. We do not allow any entry after 11am on the weekends without prior arrangement. If you do intend visiting after 11pm, please call us on 0117 9290111 to make arrangements.
Table Reservations are available at any time and for any reasonable number. Again please call us to discuss your requirements, or use our online reservation system, which can be used for both bar tables and dining tables.
